Jessica Warren (She/her)

Jessica Warren is a Ph.D. candidate in sociology at the UW. She is interested in wealth from demographic and political economy perspectives, including how wealth stratifies populations and cities and how families manage assets and debts. As part of this work, she investigates how social policies and institutions—specifically, those related to care, credit, and housing—shape wealth inequalities, affect neighborhoods, and impact families.

Prior to joining the department, Jessica worked at Child Trends, a nonprofit research organization focused on improving the lives of children, youth, and their families.
