Jessica Warren is a Ph.D. candidate in sociology at the UW. She is interested in wealth from demographic and political economy perspectives, including how wealth and debt stratify populations and cities and impact families. As part of this work, she investigates how policies and institutions—specifically, those related to care, credit, and education—shape wealth inequalities.
