Since 1987, the Hazardous Waste Worker Training Program has developed a strong network of nonprofit organizations that deliver high-quality, peer-reviewed safety and health curriculum to hazardous waste workers and emergency responders in every region of the country. These courses have established national benchmarks for quality worker safety and health training, including a strong emphasis on peer instructors and hands-on instruction.
