MEET & GREET: Anand Gopal

Is the U.S. a democracy or a republic?

Come meet and greet Dr. Anand Gopal, writer for The New Yorker magazine and author of “No Good Men Among the Living: America, the Taliban, and the War Through Afghan Eyes,” which won the Ridenhour Book Prize and was a finalist for the Pulitzer and National Book Award. Dr. Anand Gopal is a scholar covering democracy and inequality. He received his PhD from Columbia University where he studied network analysis .

He is currently a professor at the Center for the Study of Religion and Conflict at Arizona State University. Snacks and beverages will be served.
