Focuses on interrelations between the natural environment, social systems, and human behavior. Covers foundational and contemporary sociological and social-psychological theories and approaches used to examine the social construction of nature; environmental risk, hazards, and disasters; the climate crisis; environmental inequality and racism; consumption and corporate environmental responsibility; and Indigenous environmental justice.
