Walker Frahm has won a highly selective and prestigious Fulbright-Hays Doctoral Dissertation Research Abroad Fellowship. The award supports research for his dissertation, "Brokers Beyond Borders." Walker will use expert interviews and field observations to study development organizations assisting orphans and fighting human trafficking in Romania and Moldova, with a particular emphasis on exploring how those organizations function as brokers between foreign donors and local beneficiaries.
