Finishing a Degree in Winter? Special Extension Announced

A special extension has been provided for Winter degrees only.  The extension is 2 weeks with a hard deadline of 4/3.

Exams Scheduling - In Person? Remote?

The Graduate School recently communicated that, until further notice, all exams and defenses may be held remotely with all attendees being present through Zoom - including the GSR  who is normally required to attend in person.  And they also lifted the requirement for a student to be at a university with a proctor.  All attendees can remote in from wherever they are working, no special requirements.

Since the situation is fluid, this will change back to normal operations at some point in the future but we don’t know exactly when.  This policy will stay in place through Spring per current communications. Liz Collier, GPA, will help each student and exam committee schedule in accordance with current policies.

Exam Warrants and Paperwork

Liz Collier will provide the exam committee chair specific instructions relevant to any scheduled exam.
