Putting Dates from Trumba / Department Calendar Into the Newsletter

Since the News and Events are coming from two different systems (website and Trumba), there is no automatic way to combine the content. The best way to do this is to type up the list of events you want to include in the Closing or Sidebar areas, and use the permalink on the event to link to it.

As an example, the School of Art does something like this:
In each issue, they include "Select Events" in the sidebar (they are using Trumba).

Alternatively, if this proves too time consuming, you can create a simple text listing of upcoming events, and include a single link to the calendar at the bottom for more information.  Check with the Chair for how the department ultimately wants to standardize this operation please (or look at older newsletters).
