Sara Curran elected Vice President of the Population Association of America

Sara Curran, Professor of Sociology and International Studies, has been elected as the Vice President of the Population Association of American (PAA).  PAA is a nonprofit, scientific, professional organization established in 1930 to promote the improvement, advancement and progress of the human condition through research of problems related to human population. PAA members include demographers, sociologists, economists, public health professionals, and other individuals interested in research and education in the population field.  Sara has been the Director of UW's NIH supported Center for Studies in Demography and Ecology since 2015.
