Part of Ryan Gabriel's dissertation work on the housing location of mixed-race couples is profiled in UW Today at http://www.washington.edu/news/blog/study-mixed-race-couples-with-black-partners-more-likely-to-live-in-poor-neighborhoods/. Using the Panel Study of Income Dynamics, Ryan shows that in metropolitan areas inter-racial couples with one black partner are more likely to live in poor neighborhoods compared to other inter-racial couples.
