Our newest faculty member Assistant Professor Callie Burt

Our newest Assistant Professor Callie Burt has arrived on campus. Professor Burt comes to us from Arizona State University's School of Criminology and Criminal Justice where she was an Assistant Professor for the past 4 years.  Callie received her PhD in 2009 at University of Georgia specializing in criminology and has amassed an impressive research record.  Her work has appeared in Criminology, ASR, AJS, among others.  Recent manuscript titles include:   "Developmental Trajectories of Individuals’ Code of the Street Beliefs through Emerging Adulthood"  (with Moule, Stewart and Simons) (J. of Research in Crime and Delinquency 2015  52:3) and "Heritability Studies in the Post-Genomic Era:  The Fatal Flaw is Conceptual"  (with Simons) (Criminology 2015 53:1).
